I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Notre Dame. I specialize in traditional epistemology, and I have further research interests in formal and social epistemology. My work focuses on the relationship between knowledge and rational action, the nature of belief, the value of knowledge, and related issues. I am also interested in the philosophy of language, the philosophy of mind, the philosophy of religion, the philosophy of which stuff exists, and what it’s like if it does exist (I think this is called ‘metaphysics’), and early modern philosophy.
